ITALY, special places with a living voice

They say that more than half the world's art treasures are in Italy, with half of those in Rome. Even allowing for exaggeration, that's an awful lot of icons, speaking for the stories, many of which have not been told explicitly. For Italy is a secretive country and most of its great stories, legends and myths are allusive, visual, musical, rather than litterary. We have to dig them out of the earth, as artefacts, and also as sounds, from inscrutable people, who say and don't say.....
